WEB DEVELOPMENT

This course is designed to provide students with the foundational skills needed to build professional websites and web applications. Starting with an introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, learners will gain hands-on experience with modern web development tools and techniques. They will learn to create responsive and visually appealing websites using advanced HTML and CSS features, while mastering JavaScript to add dynamic interactivity to web pages.

The course also covers essential web design principles, user experience (UX) considerations, and performance optimization to ensure a smooth, user-friendly experience across devices. As students progress, they will explore popular front-end frameworks like React, delve into back-end development basics, and learn best practices in web security and debugging. By the end of this course, students will have the skills to build both the front-end and back-end of web applications, preparing them for exciting opportunities in the tech industry.

    In this session, we’ll delve into Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and their role in web development. You’ll learn how to set up an IDE, navigate its features, and use it to streamline your coding process, making web development more efficient and manageable.

    Session 03: Basic and Advanced HTML Tags

    This session focuses on HTML tags, from basic to advanced. You’ll explore the essential tags for structuring web content and dive into more complex tags that enhance functionality and design, providing a solid foundation in HTML.

    Session 04: Semantic Markups

    In this session, we’ll cover the importance of semantic markups in HTML. You’ll learn how to use semantic tags to improve the readability and accessibility of web content, making your websites more user-friendly and search engine optimized.

    Session 05: Introduction to CSS

    This session introduces CSS, the language used for styling web pages. You’ll learn about the basics of CSS, how to link it to your HTML, and how to use it to create visually appealing web designs, setting the groundwork for more advanced styling techniques.

    Session 06: Colors, Lists, Borders, Spacing and Tables

    In this session, we’ll explore various CSS properties, including colors, lists, borders, spacing, and tables. You’ll learn how to style these elements effectively to enhance the visual appeal and usability of your web pages.

    Session 07: Position and Z-Index

    This session focuses on the positioning properties in CSS. You’ll learn about different positioning techniques, such as relative, absolute, and fixed positioning, and how to use the z-index property to control the stacking order of elements on your web pages.

    Session 08: Navigation Bar and Wrap-up

    In this session, we’ll create a navigation bar using HTML and CSS. You’ll learn how to structure and style a navigation bar, making it functional and visually appealing. This session also includes a wrap-up of the key concepts covered so far.

    Session 10: Javascript - Integrating with HTML and CSS

    In this session, we’ll explore how to integrate JavaScript with HTML and CSS. You’ll learn how to manipulate the DOM, handle events, and dynamically update content, making your web pages more interactive and responsive.

    Session 11: Block Scope, Let and Const

    This session focuses on JavaScript’s block scope and the use of let and const keywords. You’ll learn about variable declaration, scope management, and best practices for writing clean, maintainable code in JavaScript.

    Session 12: Basic Concepts and Loops

    In the final session, we’ll cover fundamental programming concepts and loops in JavaScript. You’ll learn about control structures, such as loops and conditionals, and how to use them to create dynamic, interactive web applications.
